iPhone 4.0 photo rotation

I thought in 4.0 there was a feature to rotate photos? did that get scrapped in betas? I was looking forward to it 🙁

I remember hearing that too. I use this app though. It crops and rotates pictures. And it's free.

Photo rotation was definitely in 4.0 beta 1 and 2. it choked on rotating screenshots, then it disappeared.

Photo rotation is definitely not a feature in iOS 4.0.

It was eliminated in beta 3, I thought they auto-rotate in some way...

They do, but only based on the meta data in the photo. If the data is off, then it won't display in the correct orientation. It would be better if the software allowed manual rotation.
