They STILL didn't fix the wallpaper bug on the iPod touch 2G, there's an effort but it DOESN"T WORK. arghghghhghghghghghghghghgh that was all I really cared about.

When you choose the image you want and press "Set" does the "Set As Home Screen, Set As Lock Screen, Set As Both" screen come up?

Places now works in Photos.app. Camera locks up every time i try to take a pic. Anyone else?

links to beta downloads are not allowed please edit post

this is why you really need a dev account with these betas as it tells you in the release notes what you need to do to update on both mac and windows

You REALLY need to get off your high horse....

I am gonna be super rebellious and tell you mere mortals something about beta 2, OMG!

no really,
they have added a really nice transition why you swap apps (multitasking), instead of the launching apps animation.
Think of the the Swap effect in keynote really quick, and then your about there...

I guess the reason its getting that error because its not able to communicate with apple server while its done extracting the firmware...

I could be wrong on this but as i have tried on both mac and windows and still not able to upgrade to beta 2..

any update on beta 2 yet > is it more stable than beta one ? anything new broken ? please note the phone your using as well either 3g or 3gs. Thanks

It seems like a workaround to Camera.app being broken is using a 3rd party camera app. Using a 3rd party app I took a photo, sent it as an email and then send it as an email... I guess that is sort of a work around.

Well considering that you are not a mod or anything else like that, is not your place to enforce the rules and demand corrective action

I never enforced any rules I just reminded the user that it's not allowed, enforcing the rules would of involved me removing the link but seems the powers that be enforced the rule ;)

Actually the mods encourage anyone to report posts that violate the rules as explained, surprisingly, in the Forum rules.

One thing is to report than to act as a mod, it is fine to go to a mod and report the post, but not try to act as a mod yourself.

Dude, chill out. He was telling the guy to remove the link so he didn't get in trouble by the mods. I'd rather be warned by a member than receive an infraction from the mods.

come on guys, cut the guy a break.

we're moving away from the topic at hand...

WTF IS THIS CAMERA NONSENSE. does this mean its not a good idea to go to beta 2 than?

Just like the last beta, it is there for a fraction of a second and isn't clickable. So essentially,no.

as Andrew pointed out I never acted as a mod ;) here have a chill pill

I totally support you here. I was tempted to do the same thing. The same ones who have a problem with you telling someone to modify their post are the same ones trying to tell you what you can and can't post.
