Does anyone have an experience of trading in their 16GB iPhone for a 32 GB at AT&T? Can you keep your iPhone 16GB until the new one comes in? Thanks for the help.

Very Highly unlikely they will but you can try. if it's with in your 30 days you have a better chance. 95% of the time Apple will replace the exact same item.

What are you talking about highly unlikely? You do it through AT&T if you're under 30 days.

No there's no 'upgrade' window. If you are returning your 16GB for a 32GB you'll either have to go into an Apple store and swap it or order the 32GB from ATT/Apple paying the full upgrade price and wait until it arrives and receive credit for returning your old phone (within the 30 days). Not going to work the way you are thinking. Highly unlikely this can all be done within ~15 days. Best bet, go to an Apple store, sooner than later.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_0_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8A400 Safari/6531.22.7)

Go to to your local AT&T store, or call up customer care and ask. Over on the AT&T support forums, others have reported having success with this. Good luck.

You have no idea what you're talking about either. You do it through AT&T if you're within 30 days. I've had personal experience with this--I called both AT&T and Apple, and Apple specifically says to do it through AT&T. And yes, you can keep your phone while they order it if they don't have any in stock at your local AT&T store.

If you're still in the 30-day return window, you return your iPhone to the same company that sold it to you.

Apple only accepts returns if you bought the iPhone from them. They will service an iPhone no matter where you bought it from, but that doesn't sound like what the OP is talking about.
