I've been running speedtest.net on my phone this morning. Granted its early still (7A) but...

The first time I run the speed test its average speeds down (800-1000kbps) then the phone must use its tuning algorithm because the upsteam speeds are faster (1500kbps). From there, the downstream tests are blazing fast - 2000-3500kbps. Yes, I made sure I'm not on wifi (I'm at work now - there is no wifi).

The most recent test I ran got 2406/1645. I've closed the app, waited a few minutes, and tried again. I've tried this both at home and at work and the speeds were fast in both cases.

In all tests the phone was lying on a flat surface not being touched by me.

Anyone else seeing faster speeds on AT&T?

Edit: I'm in Las Vegas FWIW

I would say it's more likely because of the better hardware of the phone, definitely NOT att's network
