iPhone 4 and Handbrake

What recommended settings should I use to get good quality videos without making the file like 5gigs? I would like to find a balance between taking advantage of the beautiful new retina display and making the file as small as possible. Please share your personal experiences.

I appreciate your suggestions.

Not sure, I tried using mp4 and the iPhone settings and only 1 of the 4 videos I converted made it into the i4.

Try universal,all my movies play all ok on this setting

I found some presets some site made for the iPhone 4 by searching google. They work great, but I can't run handbrake anymore because it is running my MBP up to 210 degrees and smells funny.

Hopefully this works better for you than it did me. I couldn't get anything to encode to the HD setting and it work on the iP4.
