Apple's online store has returned with details on how to pre-order the iPhone 4 for delivery on June 24th. As previously, reported, only the black iPhone 4 is available for pre-order. Apple gives no timeframe for when the white iPhone 4 will become available.

Guess this explains why Apple did not explicitly highlight the fact that the white design is new. Thoroughly disappointing. Not pre-ordering at all.

Jokes aside, looks like AT&T doesn't have their act together yet... Keeps timing out for me when I try to pre-order.

And the apple site is already screwing up and timing out while trying to order!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRR

I just can't believe they are giving no info about the white. Will we EVER be able to pre-order the white or will we have to stand in line for the 5 that are at each store. This just sucks because I don't know what to do now.

anyone else having problems? Spinning pinwheel in Safari. "Oops...an error occured" in Firefox.

How did you pre-order a white one they are unavailable for pre-order.

note the smiley at the end. He was joking.

All jokes aside, I'm p****d that they don't have the white either. That really would have been good to know. Forget launch day now.

Well done, Apple.

BL.

Even though I'm not planning to get the iPhone 4 in the immediate future, the lack of the white iPhone being available is thoroughly disappointing. I hope this is rectified before I get enough funds together to buy the new iPhone.

Please wait while we access your AT&T account information.

You think you lot have problems? Feel bad for the Brits .... £600 for a BLACK 'un... as well. The last one was bad enough at £540. I've sold my 3GS on Fleecebay for £350 but thats still a whopping £250 to 'upgrade' .... sheesh!!!
