First off, I'm a heavy iPhone user and wanting to extend my battery life of my iPhone. As it stands I charge at night, full charge in morning and by end of work, my battery is nearly dead unless I was able to charge it during the day. I have done some research, but I'm looking for feedback from anyone with real world experience on this.

I'm looking for a battery case that will...

...Extend use of iPhone between charges (either by charging or bypassing iPhone battery)
...Allow for protection (either by protecting by itself or allowing for screen protectors without intrusion)
...Not be too bulky
...Not create unnecessary temperature increase
...Be aestheticly pleasing

Here's what I've been reviewing and I'm leaning towards the EMVY but I'm completely open to suggestions, thoughts, etc

http://exogear.com/

http://www.emvycase.com/

Thanks in advance

I would also be interested in people's thoughts as I'm one of the throngs who'll be switching to the Verizon Iphone....

I had my eye on this one...
http://www.case-mate.com/iPhone-4-Cases/Case-Mate-iPhone-4-Fuel-Max-Battery-Extender-Case.asp

Any thoughts?

I looked at that one too. For some reason when i watched the video it looked like the case had a little struggle to snap together. Also that one looks a little thicker than the rest without giving any major benefits to justify.

Thanks for the input though

Tried Mophie JPA and unless you want the top coming off every time you pull it out of your pants, I would not get the Mophie. It doesn't look lime they changed the design for the top for the plus. I have the exolife and I love it! Very thin, you can turn the charging on and off while it's on your iPhone. Try Amazon must cheaper there.

Very nice actually...very comparable to the rest and cheaper than the exo/mophie. I like the versatility of being able to remove the battery pack and still have a protective case.

@ reebs thanks for the feedback about mophie, i think i read something about that somewhere else as well, so I'll take that one off my shopping list.

2 cases in one, glass screen protector. Can't afford it, but I think I'm gonna try it out. Depending on return policy. Currently free shipping.
Edit: did it....

I am very happy with my Mophie Juice Pack Plus. Not too bulky (considering it is a battery case), good battery capacity, great case as well with a slight lay on the table design, will not interfere with screen shields, the buttons on it rock (I love the styling much better than the Juice Pack Air), to me the all black looks great and the soft texture backing feels great in the hand. I also really like how it ports the sound forward, I find myself cupping the speaker at the bottom with normal cases and this does it for me.

Yeah, that sound directing thing (which the ivyskin, and probably all of them, also have) is very nice.

Did you or have you had any of the issues with the top piece like reebs had mentioned?

I say wait for the Incipio offGRID.

Yeah, if they deliver what they say they will, the offGRID will be my choice (If I buy one of the cases, that is). It looks ridiculously thin for what it can do, and the snap-on case looks like it won't cause cracks. (It looks like the bottom part covers the whole back of the phone, and the top piece just grips around the top.

Agreed 100%. I'm waiting for the offgrid without a doubt.

Because Incipio is playing it smart.

"Update: Due to Verizon's announcement to carry the iPhone 4,
Incipio is making adjustments to the offGRID™ to ensure compatibility."

I know I saw that, they've pushed the release date back a few times already, reminds me of apple and their white iPhone..

FYI Ivyskin has horrible customer service and they lie. Please do a search to see what I mean.
Ouch. Thanks for the heads up.
I googled reviews and didn't see the bad ones.
I'm not averse to returning a lousy product.
Will post my experience.

Wow! Dual battery? and it still looks pretty thin. Has anyone had any experience with any of their previous cases? They look nice and definitely look worth the wait for the dual.
