iPhone 4 battery draining exceptionally fast

hi, my iPhone 4's battery life is draining very quickly. i've got 1h5m of usage on 7h10m standby. i've only used it for maybe a total of 13 minutes of call time and a bit of texting. during all that, it's dropped from max to 87%. i can't help but feel like this is abnormal.

please help!

What? You have to be kidding. 7 hours standby and 1 hour of usage and its only dropped 13%? I'd be very very happy with those stats.

It's fine. Carry around a phone charger with you.

Sounds kinda high but not EXCEPTIONALLY high. Keep Skype or any VOIP off your app drawer.

With an hour of usage my phone usually drops 10% so that sounds right to me

Mine drops a little more than 10% for every hour of usage, and it all depends on what task you are doing, some drain it more than others, but yours seems to be working correctly, I don't see any problem.
