Iphone 4 battery performance - Not good enough?

I'm not very impressed with my iphone 4s battery life. I've had it a week now and whilst its improved, it doesn't seem sufficient compared to other peoples stories of what they get out of it. I was hoping i could post the details here and people could telll me whether it matches up to theirs:

3g switched off, auto brightness switched on

Usage - 6 hours 53 minutes
Standby - 1 day 7 hours
Battery left - 4%

In that time i've viewed a couple 2 minute clips, browsed through some photos, recorded a 4 minute video clip, and visited a few websites. Its not jailbroken, i haven't played any games, downloaded anything or even listened to music.

That's actually inline with what I get on my iPhone 4, and actually quite good compared to my past smartphones.

I don't get it. It says you have over 6 hours of actual usage. Did you browse for 5 hours? If you've only used it a couple times, you should not have that much usage.
