iPhone 4 bezel - shiny or brushed?

Dark grey steel metal band with metal flake, it will sparkle a little bit. It's not brushed. Brushed would be if you could see a lot of lines going in one direction. And then at the very edges it's polished and beveled. I've been looking at the pics on apple a lot

But you can not anodise steel, so I'm guessing the band isn't anodised.
