iPhone 4 Camera Freezing

I've noticed recently my camera is freezing whenever I open the Camera app.

I've tried a restore and still no luck

Any ideas?

Did you restore from backup? If not, its probably some hardware issue with the camera. Apple should replace it

I set up as new phone and then did a restore from backup

Argh, last thing I need is to replace this phone

I would try it as a new phone without the restore and see what happens.

Just had this problem the other day and I got so pissed I tossed my phone right onto the asphalt at my buddys shop. Good thing for my commuter case 🙂 no damage to the phone but I gotta say it felt to to toss it haha

You will need to go back to the Apple store for a replacement. It is a known issue.
