Iphone 4 changed screen but..

i changed my cracked screen on my iphone 4 tn, install went smooth. The picture is perfect and pictures works fine. But now some areas on the screen dont work when i tap them. For instance i cant click the text box on the bottom it wont let me. Also scrolling is extremely glictcy. and some spots have no effect when when i click screen.

I have tried restarting, syncing, resetting.. i dont no what else to do. Do u think the new screen is bad?

Put old screen back in this morning and seems to be working fine just cracked.. I guess new screen is no good?

May be the problem in touch mat. May be you have to change the touch mat too.
