I Bought this from swbox. Shipping was extremly fast. I paid on friday and receieved the package on tuesday. It was shipped from china. Its made for ATT iphones not Verizon Iphone. No problem with pictures with flash on.

I got this from swbox.com (sp?)

It is plastic but strong quality and metal connectors on bottom instead of plastics.

It was for $18 plus you have different shipping options..you can do the chepest way which takes 5-15 days or you can do fedex or ups and thats 3-5days.

This comes with just the black plate. not screws or anything..you have to have your own screw driver or you can buy it from them.

Does it get scratched up?
 
I really wish it was glass!!! If I do a clear back cover I will make sure to have on of my artistic friends do something really cool on the battery or something.

I've been waiting to see someone post some pics of this backplate. Looks very cool! I may pick up one now. At around $20, it's actually one of the more expensive accessories on swbox, haha.

Edit: btw OP, I notice some western blots in your photos. Are you a chemist?
 
Very cool. The only issue I think there may be is dust. It would absolutely drive me nuts to see dust in there and it would be a hassle to take it out to clean everytime (for me).

the dust doesnt get in there. there are no gaps.
 
Shipping is about $18 for one but if you buy 10 then shipping is $32. If we have enough people we can do a group buy.

Just got mine today.The thickness is the same as the original back.So far the quality seems very good,no problem with the screw holes or anything.I really like how this looks on my phone, very cool and different.
