iPhone 4 Dies in the Alabama Sun

The digitizer on my iPhone 4 stops working when it is in the sun for 2-3 minutes. Specifically the far right side of the digitizer stops working and does not respond to touch.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues with their digitizers?
