Woke up this morning to my iPhone in safe mode, 5% battery (was at 96% when I fell asleep last night), now currently in an endless respring cycle. My mac is recognizing it when it's plugged in, but I can't even get her into safe mode.

Have tried a few hard resets, nothing so far. Any suggestions?

Tried both, no go. Just gonna have to restore. Luckily I backed up my blobs with Saurik/Umbrella.

Wish me luck.

It's above 20% by now... Any reason that shouldn't work? It is plugged in after all...

Wondering that myself. I have been having problems with a Cydia source error when updating so last night I SSH'd and removed all my caches/repo downloads. I rebooted, Cydia redownloaded everything and it was fine. Used it for an hour or so, went to bed. Woke up in safe mode and like an idiot rather than use the opportunity to fix what was wrong, I resprung.

I sent a tweet to David Ashman (Stimpy5050) and he replied with this:

Stimpy5050 @nrcrawford1: You should never have to restore on a boot loop. SSH in and move everything in /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries.

Wish I had known this yesterday :(

Same thing happened to me, I tried to restore with my blobs from Cydia, but it kept failing so I gave up and installed 4.0.2 after messing with it for a couple of hours.
