S samcraig macrumors P6 Jun 28, 2010 #3 not for nothing - but the device it packed very tight and to edit and process video it's using a lot of CPU (and memory which is why they upped to 512) I'd be surprised if the unit did NOT get hot when editing video...

Small White Car macrumors G4 Jun 28, 2010 #4 Another clue as to why the 3GS can't run iMovie. Clearly this program is pushing the A4 chip to the max. What chance would an older model have?
