It's about 3 or 4x that amount though still a far cry from what you guys pay.

V^2 = 2ad since initial velocity is 0m/s
V^2 = 2(9.81m/s^2)(304.88m)
V = 77.34m/s
(77.34m/s)(1 mile/1,609.34m)(3600 seconds/1 hour) = 173.01mph

Again, if you read the story it is pretty clear, 1st grade math here: Me and a friend, each with a quad. If you don't believe the story than read some other news. Obviously if this is a publicity stunt, it has sucked you in....
