I've created a similar app that includes an adjustable strobe setting. I submitted an iAd-supported free version as well as a 0.99 cent version to the App Store today.

Another benefit to the dedicated app would be the ability to strobe, SOS or even Morse code... mostly useless, but fun anyways.

I am Glad it is the "Pro" Version because I am a professional and will only buy apps with the "Pro" name in the title. If it was just called "Strobe" I would know that is was just a cheap amateur version. Would not want that.

I looked at a bunch of free flashlight apps and finally decided on LED Light for iPhone 4 Free because it also has a strobe. Could be useful in emergencies.

I just went to the app store and got the LED Light for Phone, it was free, it works and has a strobe to it.

I've downloaded springflash from cydia and have it set up so that when I press and hold the home button, led turns on. Very convenient.

I can't believe that. None of these flashlight apps control brightness of the LED? Or have a button that has low medium high in it? Most of the time I only need a low light not the full bore high you get normally...

I think with the LED it is only ever on or off.

I downloaded Flashlight - For iPhone 4. That is what it is called. It is great. Includes an adjustible strobe.
