iPhone 4 for Mom! iOS 5.1.1 keep or upgrade?

Every OS can slow the iPhone 4 except iOS 4, you may as well upgrade, there are more features and working apps.

ALERT, ALERT. Do NOT upgrade an iPhone 4 to iOS7. It becomes slow as hell. Do NOT do it. Its horrid. Almost like using a Samsung.

I really dislike iOS7 on iPhone 4. I looks nice, but it is slow sometimes unresponsive, even with some features disabled.

Half want to go out and buy something else.
