iPhone 4 - Headphone volume control not working?

I'm not sure what happened, but for some reason the volume control on the headphones itself, that came with my ip4 are not able to raise or lower the volume anymore. I have to push the volume buttons on the side of the ip4.

Any ideas on what might cause this?

Try turning off/on your phone, if that doesn't work, take it to an Apple store.

same thing happened to me....Apple will give u a new pair just take it to the apple store

Yup looks like I am heading to the apple store tomorrow. Restarted the phone and still the same.
