Just wondering if I'm the only one who is experiencing this problem. I use the Music App in iOS 5.0.1occasionally and then I make sure its off, paused, closed, basically not running, not playing a song.

Randomly it just starts playing music on its own. I thought maybe something in my pocket bumped the phone etc and launched the app, but I have it set to auto lock. It did it with nothing else in my pocket to bump the phone accidentally.

Ruled that out all together because I set it down on the table and walked away for an hour or so and I come back to see that its playing music by itself? I wasn't using the Music App all day so why is it auto launching the app and playing music by itself?

I did a hard reset three times to try to fix the issue, but still my iPhone just likes to play music all by itself. Should I erase it and reformat it? Has anyone else had this issue?

    Mind of it's own

I also have the same problem. Sometimes after a call is completed my iPhone 3S with IOS 5 will start playing music, always in shuffle mode, which I never do myself. Since the last time I used the Music app, I've shut down, I've tried many things, but still, music just starts playing after a call is over. Weird science. I wish I would not have my updated my 3S to IOS 5. I've also had some weird cellular data traffic that I can't explain. A 7kb usage appears about every 2 hours or so 24/7. My thinking is that the Calendar app (that can't be removed) is communicating only over cellulular even though I'm on WIFI 24/7. Buggy OS...did Apple hire MS programmers???

You guys have a serious paranormal problem. Better call the iPriest from the genius bar to exorcise the iDemons out of your house. These are known to do creepy things like what you are having
