iPhone 4 iPhoto issues

has anyone else noticed two things with the iPhone 4 and iPhoto:

1) images don't show up when you go to import them. ie, there is a blank box in place of the image. once imported, however, the image can be seen

2) it takes a ridiculous amount of time to import images/video

Yes I have many issues with this have had hem for years. I know the response is really late but they don't get along.

Ive done everything I can think of to fix the problem, completely remove and reinstall iPhoto, hard reset iPhone, restore iPhone, etc, etc..... I have no idea what it is or why it happens. I learned to do something else while the photos load like blog here.🙂
