So when I got home today, after being at school, where my phone was connected to wifi all day, I looked and noticed my phone wasn't connected to wifi. So of course the first thing I checked was that wifi was on, and it was. So I go to settings, and click on my wifi, and all of a sudden it prompts me for the password. I thought this was odd, seeing as I was just connected to this very wifi network just this morning. So I entered the password, yes it was correct, and it said that it was incorrect. So I entered the password again to make sure I had not made a mistake, and again it said it was incorrect. So I went to my laptop to make sure the wifi password hadn't changed, and re entered it on there, and surely enough it was still the same password. So then I turned off wifi, and turned it back on, and re entered the passwird and the phone still said it was incorrect. I am jailbroken so I respringed my phone and it still said it was incorrect. I tried turning the phone on and off, like 3 times, and I even reset my network settings, but still my phone said that the password was incorrect. So does anyone know what the problem here is? And restoring is not an option atm because for some reason my charger won't sync. And also once again the password I am entering is correct, so no I am not just being stupid

This probably sounds obvious but are there any upper case letters in the password? Also I've found some passwords won't be accepted if there's a space entered after it. Could that be what's causing your problems connecting?

I had a problem sorta like this one at the end of December. It would kick me off the wifi and tell me it's wrong but it would also do this to very other device on the wifi but all at diffrent times. It turns out it was a problem with the wifi modem. So what I would do would be turn off the modem for a few seconds let it start back up and try again then what would happen to me was it would work for about 30 minutes and then one of the devices would get kicked off. So that's when I got my airport express and every thing was all good for a few weeks and then it started to happen again but much less frequently and I had to get a new verizon modem but they sent it to me for free cuz it was from like 2006 or something. So try turning on and off your modem and tell me how it goes.

I said already that I know the password I am entering is correct
Try "forget this network" and General > Reset > Reset network settings

I had this happen @ my moms house. I rebooted the router and it worked. Turned out the router only allowed so many connections to it. We had a lot of people over that day.

let's see.. you're jailbroken, you can't restore, you've tried everything.. just what are we to help you with if you can't help yourself?

Find me the spot where I said I tried everything and then say that again buddy. Let me save you some time and tell you you won't find that. Anywhere. So maybe you should go and find another thread to be annoying on
