Resolved iPhone 4 Jailbreak and factory unlock problems?

I was wondering if you have a factory unlock from AT&T and you are on iOS 6 and wanted to jailbreak, would there be any issues with the two? Probably resale value of the 4 would be better for the unlock and not jailbreak but just wanted to ask before I did anything.
