iPhone 4, no battery % indicator?

I just re-watched some of the hands on videos and noticed it was not on...have we heard if it's not included on iPhone 4 or was it simply not turned on with the demos?

the % meter was a feature only for the 3GS (and now iPhone 4), so Apple doesn't use it during promo photos or on stage as to not confuse previous generation iPhone users into thinking that they also have this feature.

Thanks, that is what I thought. I really like having it on the iPad as to not on my 3G phone.

It's also an optional feature that can be turned on or off. Steve is a minimalist look and would never clutter a key note with this feature.

Op it is part of ios4.0 as I'm running it on my 3GS. Just have to go into the options and turn it on.
