Iphone 4S no signal after screen replacement

I had the same problem today on a 4S. Took it apart to replace the screen and when I put it back together there was no antenna coverage.
I took it apart again and inspected verything but to no avail.

I updated the software and that sorted it out.
Hope it helps.

Hey guys, just came across this and thought i would provide you with a fix, hopefully it helps some of you as this problem irritated me like no ones business.

Take the phone that is stuck "searching...", enable wifi and log onto a wifi network. Go to the home screen then remove the sim card. The phone will recognise you have done this. Re-insert sim card and it will find a network :D.

Additionally, the signal noise filter is evidently unnecessary. This has been alleged and verified so on other forums, where I first learned this solution (just last night in fact). I have just had several clean phone calls with folks since the repair, including my mum on her birthday. 3G data works great too.

Good luck, email me with any questions mikemuder@gmail.com
