I LOVE my new iPhone 4. Its simply the best phone ive ever had (i also have a 3g and a 3gs).

However when I connect it to my macbook pro it does not show up in Finder?

Is this normal behavoir because I remember connecting it to a windows machine and it always appears in the folder structure so I can copy my movies/photos to my computer.

I sometimes want to transfer one file from my phones camera to my macbook but it seems its impossible? I dont want to have to import via Aperture each time as its time consuming.

Any way to make iPhone 4 show in the Finder on the left then?

Thanks

The iPhone has never shown up in this way, nor any iPod. If you open iPhoto/Aperture, you should be able to select which photos you want to import.

You can also access the iPhone's photos and recorded videos in Image Capture as well as iPhoto and Aperture.

It's not going to show up in the Finder, neither does the iPod touch or the iPad. The iPod classic, shuffle and nano show up as discs in the Finder as they can be used as hard drives.

That is very strange though because it shows up in Windows in the folder structure so you can take the images and videos from the phone?

Seems stupid it doesnt show up in finder to do the same :p

I agree, I'd love to have this feature in snow leopard. My iPhoto is messed up, photo's have the wrong dates on them.
