Hey guys,
I got an used iPhone 4, jailbroken running iOS 4.2.1 with the 3.10.01 baseband.
I've been trying to restore to 5.0.1 while preserving my baseband but I keep getting the error 3194.
I tried all known fixes (Tiny Umbrella and Manual one) but I can't get it to work.
Today I noticed that on Cydia it says: SHSH: iOS 5.1
Is this normal?
Thanks in advance,
Rui

On cydia does it list 5.0.1 shsh for your device?
Did you stitch your shsh blobs to a custom 5.0.1 ipsw in order to restore to that?
I think you're missing a few steps. You dont just restore to stock 5.0.1 and expect it to work. There's stitching that needs to be done before.

Thanks for the quick Reply.
Sorry if I'm not explaining it well enough, I'm very new to iPhone hacking.
On Cydia it lists SHSH: 5,1.
I did a Custom IPSW in redsn0w and used that one to restore in iTunes.. If that's what you're asking.

If it only lists 5.1 you can never restore to 5.0.1 or any firmware you dont have shsh blobs for.
Your only option is to wait to restore to custom 5.1.1 when the new jb comes out.

Is there any way I can get the shsh blobs?

Not possible.
Apple only releases 5.1.1 blobs now and you cannot use another devices blobs. They are unique.

Ok, I guess I'll just wait for the 5.1.1's untethered jailbreak.
Once again, many thanks for your help.
