Hello guys, I have couple of questions...
I got used IPhone 4 (iOS 4.2.1) and I want to jailbreakn it and unlock it (probably via ultrasn0w)...
So is there any way to update IPhone to iOS 6, 6.1 or 6.1.2 but now the latest 6.1.3 because i will loose possibillity for untether Jailbreak or Jailbreak at all...
So my question is can i update iPhone 4 from 4.2.1 to 6.1.2 and preserve baseband if possible (for ultrasn0w unlock)

Sorry if I missed thread or section because I am new on this forum.

Thank you.:apple:

I don't think you will be offered an update to anthing prior to 6.1.3 at this time. I have never seen it happen, but I'm not saying it can't because I'm not 100% sure how iOS updates versus another platform like Linux. If it's like Linux, when you update you are fully updated to the latest across the OS (without manually forcing some packages to remain at current versions).

I know it wont offer me anything except iOS 6.1.3 but I dont know is there any way like redsn0w or anything :)

well you need to try Redsn0w 0.9.15b3 its the best software to unlock I Phone. Read more about it...

if you want 6.1.2, use a site like PirateBay to get a trusted version and then plug your phone into your computer. When you're prompted the software is out of date, ignore it. Option-click the restore button in the iPhone window and you'll be able to choose to install 6.1.2 from your downloads.
