Anyone checked out the ZAGG InvisibleSHIELD?

what the hell? they said that the signal dropped when you held the iphone, and your skin acted as a conductor messing and mixing up separate signals. well then why cant you not touch the iphone when using it? isnt that all this invisible shield it? A PIECE OF TAPE(electrical would be best)? I dont have an I phone but I would sincerely request that some one carefully placed a layer of sticky tape around the metal band and trimmed off places for the buttons, edges or what ever, theoretically, that should solve the problem…..

Sorry I stopped reading at "I don't have an iPhone"

I bought the Invisible Shield for my iPhone's front and back, then cut out a half inch piece from the leftover scraps to go over my antennae.

Solved the problem. :D

I have been using iPhone 4 for the last 5 days now and no matter what I do, I am unable to replicate the iPhone 4 antenna reception problem which everyone keeps talking about. I know the problem is there, because I have seen lots of YouTube videos which shows it all. Also, Apple has acknowledged the issue now and they are going to fix it via software update which is due in the next few weeks.

Not sure what you mean by "apple has acknowledged the issue" but apple hasn't said anything about their antenna per se, and there is no software fix that is going to fix or correct the inherent design problem.

I suspect that there is more than one "problem" involved. I have experienced some iPhones which exhibit the problem immediately and others that seem to be nearly impervious to it. There is a chance that there are differences in component suppliers involved and the possibility that there are differences in assembly or connection of components in addition to the antenna design itself.

He is just lucky that his works well.

I solved my iphone 4 Reception Issue from your suggestion, your post is very much helpful to get superb idea, Now I get the perfect idea about it.

IPhone 4s loses signal

Hi,
Just saw the info about the iphone losing signal if held on the bottom. I just purchased factory unlocked and if I hold the phone at the bottom which is the most comfortable I lose all signal and it goes to searching. At the same time it drops the call. It is so annoying I'm thinking of returning - had I known this prior to purchase - I would have got a droid.

Then I suggest you follow the advice in this video:

Why would anyone even post on this thread after a year and a half? Simple solution is to get an iPhone 4s NOT 4.
