iPhone 4 replacement question!

I just have a quick question. I have a white iPhone 4 and I was wondering when and if the official white iphone 4 is released do you think I will be able to take my black iphone --> white iphone 4 and get it replaced for an official OEM white iphone 4 if something ever went wrong with it or do you think they would be able to tell based on the serial number or the parts? Opinions please! Thanks.

They would know that the phone was originally black and your warranty would be voided.

No, because the serial number still detects the phone as a black unit.
