iPhone 4 Retail Store Question

If i buy iPhone 4 in retail store in USA , it will be ATT locked?
and will it be on 4.0 (ready for jailbreakme.com) or on 4.0.2 ?

all iPhone 4 sold in the u.s is locked to AT&T

depends, I got an iphone yesterday from the apple store (aug 13) and it had 4.0.1 which works with jailbreakme.com

yes its locked to ATT and at this point you'll probably get one with 4.0.1 or 4.0 on it as they probably have back stock with that software version.
