iPhone 4 Scratch on Stainless Steel Metal Band

My iPhone is flawless except for the right side of the iPhone. There is a small scratch on the side that is 1/4 of an inch. I'm just glad it is not the front or back. I just wanted to warn you that the stainless steel band isn't scratch proof.

Normal Pocket Use. I'm going to start using a case today to avoid the problem on the back.

Wow. I honestly wouldn't have thought normal pocket use wouldve caused that. Bumper + bestskins for my white iPhone for sure.

And why would you think the stainless steel was scratch proof?

Nothing on the iPhone is scratch proof, at best it's only scratch resistant.

that scratch looks pretty deep.

i found these two area on my silver band that have the "rough edges". In the light, it looks shinier then the other parts. kind of like when you get curb burn. i think it came like that though. eh 🙄

be wary of the metal rivets on jean pants, i've noticed i almost scratched mind too on them, they just slid across the screen 😛
