I got my new iPhone 4 yesterday however when I first plugged it into iTunes it said there was no sim card inserted into the iPhone. I popped out the micro SD card and it was in there. So i took it out brushed it off and put it back in and the rest is history. Except today, it randomly just lost the connection to the sim card and I had to pop out the SIM card and put it back in again. Is this common or is it just a bad sim card I need to get replaced? I love the iPhone 4, but I don't really like having an expensive iPod touch when the SIM card goes out. Thanks.

Could be phone or Sim, If you have a AT$T store or Rep close go get another sim, they are free. otherwise goto Apple.

The same exact thing is happening to me. I went to the apple store and dude told me to get a new sim so I did and what do you know? It's still happening. I just came back and they are in the process of restoring my phone right now. I personally don't think it's gonna do jack and is just a waste of my time, but o well .... I'll be back in a few days to get a replacement.
