My iphone 4 has started to switch off before it is completely drained. The indicator shows 8 or 9 pct. The other day it switched off at 20 pct. This never happend to me before ios 7.0.4 - Is this a bug that will be fixed in 7.1?

My iPhone 5 does that as well, it seems the estimation is off a bit. tbh, when you get down to such low percentages you're living on borrowed time anyways. I'd say its less of a bug and more of the battery gave everything it had and the phone shut off.

That does seem odd. Mine will do it around 3 or 4% since I'm guessing it would conserve some battery for saving data. Maybe your battery is starting to go?

you say iPhone 4. how old is it. It's possible that the battery is consumed.
