iPhone 4 - Sync Problem

Hi Geeks,
Got a question for you.

In the last week, my iPhone 4 got some liquid damage. It works perfectly...as in calls, texts, internet browsing etc. I can very well charge it via power plug. But if i connect the USB to computer, computer doesnt detect the iPhone. I dont know whats going wrong here. Connecting it with the same USB cable works fine when used via power plug.
Can you suggest me the troubleshooting ?

try leaving it in a bowl of dry rice for a little while to dry it out.

I did it for 2 days. Problem is still not resolved.
Could you suggest any further action ?
