Great comments, everyone. The 4S photo looks much better to me. Captures much more detail. I think the colors in both photos are likely off, but still, no doubt that the 4S photo looks better.
 
My personal experience reveals that pictures taken with each model are so close to identical, no one at work could tell which was which. Further reinforcing the minor nature of the "upgrade" to the 4S.

Could the "S" represent "sucker".

Perhaps we've been had :)

If you had the 4 than maybe so, if you had a 3GS, no shot.

Every post I've seen you make is a complaint. Why don't you kindly gtfo and find another iphone forum to troll?
 
Here is a comparison between the iPhone and iPhone 4s' camera. Notice the one of the left (4) produces the colors and and lighting much more accurately. The one on the right looks washed out and dull! Do you thinks it possible that the iPhone 4 takes better photos!
