I recently got a iPhone 4 as a hand-me-down and since there was stuff on it, i erased all content and setting. Once i did that the screen went blank and a spinning circle appeared. However, this screen has been there for over 13 hours now. Help? :(

Press and hold the lock and home button together for 10 seconds

If it was jailbroken, you cannot just simply press erase all content and reset settings. Now you must plug it into iTunes and click restore to bring it to a usable state. It will be restored to iOS 6.1.3
