I've just been told by my friendly Vodafone guy that he has been given strict instructions not to give out microsims at all to customers who have bought their own unlocked iphone 4's from Apple. He's also been told not to carry out any sim swaps for people who may already have unactivated ipad sims. This can only be because they want to charge a premium to use the iphone 4 over any other handset, and because it uses a microsim they are able to do so. If this policy doesn't change before UPS arrive tomorrow, I'm off! Who else is going to leave Vodafone if they aren't allowed to use their own legally bought phone? P.S. I know I could cut down my current sim, but that really isn't the point, I shouldn't have to!
