i have a jailbroken iPhone 4 running 4.3.1. My baseband is 04.10.01. is there any hope of an unlock coming out for baseband 04.10.01 in the next 3 months?

The only way to unlock iPhone 4 is if it has baseband 1.59.00.

Noone knows if or when a new unlock will be out.
You can use those new turbosims to unlock though for now.

so if i want to unlock my iPhone i will have to downgrade my baseband? Is it certain that no unlock will come out for 04.10.01?

How can i downgrade my baseband (is it possible)?

Baseband can't be downgrade. You have to stuck with 04.10 for now. Like Applejuiced said earlier, you can unlock it with turbo sim currently selling in the market now.

You can simply use Gevey Sim.

IMO, it isn't gonna happen. The last unlocked for Iphone 4 01.59 baseband was more than a year ago. Since then, nothing happens. In addition, Apple is selling factory unlocked Iphones now.
