I just jailbroke my iPhone 4 with redsnow 5.0.1, I was wondering if I can unlock? Sorry, i'm new to unlocking iPhones. I'm only knowledgeable on jailbreaking 😀

Unlock depends on baseband. For Iphone 4

01.59 - Ultrasn0w.
01.59 - 04.10 - Gevey Sim
04.11 - You are SOL.

How do you check the baseband?

Setting/general/about. Look all the way to the bottom where it said "modem firmware". That is the baseband.

No I bought it off someone, I couldn't pass on the deal. White 32gb iPhone 4 for 300$, I guess i'll continue using it as an ipod for work. I'm tired of my laggy blackberry :S

So which carrier is the phone locked to? Maybe you can contact them and put the phone on Apple's whitelist for a small fee.
