I hate to beat a dead horse, but before I start in with Apple I want to make sure I am not screwing something up. I have two photos, taken side by side under the same conditions. First, the photo from my wifes 3GS:

Now the same photo with my iPhone 4:

I do have a Zagg Invisible Shield on the back of the iPhone 4 FYI, although I am not sure that would cause such a variation in color.

AM I doing something wrong? Is there a setting I need to adjust or do I have a bad unit (this is a replacement phone for one already returned due to a screen issue)

Wow. Def something wrong there. No there is no "setting" to fix that. But I would think a shield being over the camera lens could cause that. Just a guess. Remove it and re-take

My InvisibleShield doesn't cover the camera lens on the back.

Try 'Tapping to Focus' on the dog perhaps? Or take it to a 'Genius!'

Yes the shield can play with the color.

Also, I would be leery to post your iPhone photos right off the camera as you're doing. Remember, the iPhone tracks the location of your photos and embeds that into the jpeg... You don't want to be in for a Surprise.
