I just replaced my 3GS with an iPhone 4 (wanted to get in before the case program ended) and I'm seeing a substantial speed difference over 3G. Any one else?

Best on 3GS (in 10 months including a month with out DSL! (I checked alot!))
DL: 1487 Kbps
UL: 354 Kbps

Best on iPhone 4 (in 24 hours):
DL: 4215 Kbps :D
UL: 720 Kbps

Plus I've never seen my download speed go under 2 Mbps on my iPhone 4. Even at highway speeds I can watch Bolt on netflix.

I was so surprised I even reran the test on my wife's 3GS with the same results.

PS: I'm in Denver.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 4_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/532.9 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.5 Mobile/8B117 Safari/6531.22.7)

The speed of my iPhone 4 is definitely better than my 3GS.

I don't know, but I think it has something to do with the processor? Because I remember when I had the original iPhone and would tether it to my MacBook, the webpages would load pretty fast on the computer on an Edge connection.

It's probably cuz of better baseband chip.
