Here are a couple of my favorites. I am only responsible for a couple of them. With that said, credit where credit is due.

thank you very much. may i ask where you found this image or how do you get the colors exactly like this ?

I took a simple black and white image of a power line (google image search with "power lines" and select black and white images). Then added a tree line at the bottom from another black and white image. Finally superimposed a simple rectangle with gradient colors that I sampled from the image the original poster posted (with multiply effect).

There must be someone out there…

I really want the default iOS wallpapers in 640x960.

All I can find are te 3GS ones. There must be someone who extracted them fom their iPhone 4.

Yeah the texture is perfect, it is a little dark is there a way to lighten it a bit? I really appreciate your help you guys if I'm being a whiner just let me know ;)

I lightened it up a bit for you:)

I decided to make a tabbed wallpaper template in case people want to roll their own with their favorite image. So the left image below is the template and the right image illustrates how to create your own background image. Essentially, you open the template in PS or whatever graphics app you prefer. Then you create a second layer behind the template and put your desired background image.

Enjoy your tabbed wallpaper.

I do not have PS for my Mac....any other programs that will do layers like this? I tried Perfect Layers, but the png file doesn't play nice with the program

let me know if you have suggestions

regardless, thanks for sharing this
