Thanks for all the adjustments you've made. I have a request: Could you please switch the location of the "Swipe" and"Apps"? Thank you!

This may be hard since the background color is different behind the words, BUT I will do my best only because you are a Rebel fan. I am an Ole Miss alum myself.

Edit: How is this?

Someone was looking for a lock screen to go with the blueprint wallpaper. Here is one I threw together.

Thanks for this lockscreen in Post #3. It goes great with the blue print wallpaper. I would like to ask if you could remove the "Future Notification Area . . . " text and replace it with "LOCKSCREEN". I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Perfect! Thank you so much! Yes I am a Rebel alum too! If you have any Rebel backgrounds send them my way please. I already have all the Ole Miss "Wooden" backgrounds that have been posted here, but welcome any others that haven't been posted here. Thanks again for editing the blue print. It looks great.

Edit: Actually now that I'm looking at it, do you think it would be possible to move "Swipe" down a little like "Apps" is? The names of my apps is covering it up a little.

Of course. I should have noticed that it was too high but it slipped by me. I tested on my phone this time around.

As for any Ole Miss wallpapers, I have this Colonel Reb wallpaper I made a little while back.

I have some very nice HDR images I want to convert to iPhone format, but have some questions you guys might be able to help me with:

What is a good app (PC) to crop the image at a fixed aspect ratio? I have tried the powerhouses GIMP and Photoshop, but it is quite hard to do. I have also used Picasa and picknick, but in Picasa you have to add the photos to an album and the changes don't get saved in the file. Piknick has been the easiest but the pics end up low quality or if the quality is keep they end up twice as large.

Finally how to you insert pictures in this thread as thumbnails, I tried to put a pic earlier and had to remove it because instead of a thumbnail it appeared full size and stretched the whole thread sideways.

Thanks

This is what I do in Photoshop, I'm sure there are other ways. Create new, settings width 640 pixels by 960 pixels and a 400 pixel/inch resolution. Now open your hdr photo in photo shop. Select all. Copy. Paste into the 640x960 one. Its going to be bigger than it so go to Edit--> Transform--> Scale. Scale the photo down to the correct size. Now save as jpeg and you're good to go!

Bingo. It's is the easiest way to do it, and this way you can also select which portion of the image you want showing.

for GIMP just click the selection tool and then further down there is an option to specify size for selection.

when you hit post reply hit manage attachments or if you upload to a image site like imageshack or the likes then you need to use the the code [ TIMG]<image url>[/ TIMG] (without spaces)

Thanks guys for all the tips.

As soon as I convert all the HDR pics I will be uploading them. Hope you guys like nature and landscapes.
