Sorry for being late to respond to the linen wallpaper requests. Anyway, it's the actual file extracted from the SpringBoard.app on your iPhone (Systems/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app). Yes, the actual dimensions of the image are 960x960 on iPhone 4 and 480x480 on earlier models. Here's a tip on how to set a square image as a wallpaper properly: select the wallpaper, without moving it, simply double-tap on it in the center and save. Voilà!

Here's a couple of images that I cropped. They're from the house record label Hed Kandi (http://www.hedkandi.com), basically artwork used on CD covers. The images are on the web site so I don't think I'm breaking any laws by cropping and posting them here for non commercial uses. More suitable for lock screen...abstract/texture/landscape/nature images serve better on the homescreen in my opinion.
