I don't want to sound like a troll but given how the panel fills up with icons, how useful is wallpaper anyways.

I like an uncluttered screen where I can see the images better.

Am I the only one who's underwhelmed by iOS4's wallpaper ability?

Edit btw, some of those images are awesome

if you use your folders the wallpapers are less distracting...

Personally I keep one with only my dock icons at the bottom as the first screen, then my second screen is where I keep my app icons. As you can see here, means I get to enjoy the wallpaper more, but I think the layout the the wallpaper is important, I always use a lock screen template to make sure nothing is behind the dock or the lock screen.
