I miss sbsettings (mostly turning the brightness down), too.

But the biggest thing is when you're jailbroken you're not just another Apple chrony doing what Steve tells you what you can do.

Whether it's five icons rows, custom sounds, etc. It's buying something for $200 + and doing whatever the F*#@ you want with it.

I don't know of any other product that you buy and can't do what you want with it. Hence my Jeep, I bought it and can do anything I want to it, to make it MY Jeep.

Get me out of this apple shaped box, soon!!!!

Just picked up my iPhone 4 this morning. I brought it inside and the screen hadn't auto adjusted yet, so I instinctively went to swipe the status bar to kick it in shape. And then I realized that a small part of me was missing when I had to go into settings...

I'll miss all my jailbroken apps for the time being. I'll just have to carry around my old iPod touch whenever I feel the need to SSH or enjoy some retro gaming. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for a jailbreak sometime in the next two weeks... along with the 4.0.1 update.

When I had my 3G and 3GS iDevices and would be at the gym using the iPod function and would receive a phone call, I had to yank the headphones off to accept/hear the call. (Can't check this as I just sold both 3GS iDevices via Craigslist a day ago)

With the iPhone 4, the headphones are integrated into accepting/placing phone calls. Works with FaceTime also.

Is it just me, or am I correct about 3G and 3GS iDevices not allowing the use of headphones to make/receive calls and this is new with the iPhone 4 ?

It's just you. It has been able to answer calls/talk with the headset since the first iPhone. Play/Pause and Skip forward has been available since 1.0 as well...

I miss it and Status Bar Notifier the most, I think. I keep checking the status bar to see what the temperature is and am disappointed every time.

That, and going from 5-icon dock to 4 is SERIOUSLY throwing me off. Every time I have to use one of the apps on the dock, I mis-hit. Very annoying (and a little embarrassing.)

Same with me lol. I'm checking everybodys twitter very frequently hoping for jailbreak news.

It's a shame Geohot doesn't have an I4. He trounces the Dev Team in speed of jailbreaks.

That being said, Dev Team is like the Blizzard of jailbreaks. They take their time to make it, but they do it right.

I completely wrecked my 3GS about a month ago and used a wretched Nokia flip phone while awaiting the 4. I finally got one this morning and I've been swiping along the top all day.

when i upgraded to 4.0 i did it a few times to disable wifi hah. I don't do it anymore though.

I don't know the relationship between the dev team and geo, but I would have figured things would go quicker if he just told them what he did and they would credit him for the exploit. Comex doesn't have on and they still managed to do it with apples and his coding, so it seems like more of geo just not that generous.

True....geo should just give up his supposed permanent exploit to those who actually plan to do something with it.
