2.4ghz just has more interference with other things that use the same frequency so you can't maximize your throughput. With 5Ghz, you would actually experience what wireless N really is.

I was hoping for 5GHz too, maybe that will change on 4GS.


Does anybody know if this phone will have 4G Mobile network capability or is it going to just be on 3G network? Reason i'm asking is because I think rumor is ATT will deploy 4G network at the end of the year.

It be pointless to buy a 3G phone and not be able to get on 4G network...

It is not 4G capable, nor does it matter, because AT&T is not going to be deploying 4G any time soon, there will be at least 1 or 2 more iphones before 4G hits AT&T.

No, and AT&T is not expected to rollout 4G this year.
