I'm having the same issues, both at home, and at my part time job, and have noticed it at hot spots as well. the iphone 3gs didnt have the issue. it's very frustrating!

i've only had my phone for 4 days, and the guy at the AT&T store didnt want to hear about it "call apple" is the response i got! :(

Same here. Just got my IP4 today, setup wifi and it was fine. Then later I looked at the status bar and the wifi indicator was gone. Deleted the home network and re-added it. Came right up but I noticed it gone again later..... can't believe others don't see this.

The problem I have is that every few days or so, suddenly my iPhone 4 can no longer see any wireless networks. Turning wifi on and off doesn't fix it, I have to turn my phone all the way off and back on, then it can see the networks. Anyone have THAT problem. Contemplating a restore but hate losing all my game saves.

Don't think that will do any good. I setup my new IP4 as new. And although its only been one day, I can see your problem happening.

UPDATE:

What I did now is to configure the wifi profile for my home network using a static IP outside the DHCP address range. So far I have not had any drops and it connects as soon as I re-enter the house.

Same...

Yeah....same issue here. I just tried making the IP static and it seems to be working. However it's only been 5 minutes...

UPDATE:
No luck....only 10 minutes and it's not able to communicate on the wifi again. THIS better be addressed 4.2...it worked fine on my 3G and 3GS.

Dropped wifi

Didnt know if it was my wifi provider (Telus) or my Iphone4, but constantly dropping connection. Shut of wifi, turn back on works fine for awhile, then same thing. How do we complain and get this fixed?
